Ciara & Timothee
This wedding day!! We hadn’t seen these two since their engagement session down on the water front in Old Town Alexandria (where Tim proposed!), so it was SO GOOD to finally see them again! And for obvious reasons – they were getting MARRIED! So many people came from ALL OVER to see Ciara and Timothee’s wedding at Lorien Hotel & Spa in Alexandria, Virginia. Timothee’s family is french, so hearing everyone speak french was amazing!
One thing that really stood out to us during Ciara & Tim’s ceremony on Saturday was something that the priest had said. He said to Ciara & Tim, “you are responsible for getting each other to heaven.” And honestly, I had never looked at it that way before, but he was totally right! It made me rethink my priorities in Tony and I’s own marriage! Sometimes we can get caught up in our own personal goals, family, friends, health, etc. But really when it all comes down to it – we’re married and we’re a team because God put us together to keep each other accountable and to pursue Jesus first!
Aside from the inspiring ceremony, Ciara and Tim even had an amazing room at the Lorien Hotel & Spa, right in downtown Alexandria and it had a BALCONY! You could see the Masonic Temple right from the room – it was incredible and made for the most amazing portraits! But my personal favorite part? Their FLORALS! Alicia Jayne Florals KILLED it with these bouquets and centerpieces!!
Ciara and Tim are two of the most thoughtful people – they were constantly checking on US, asking us if we were okay, if had enough food, they even gifted us a bottle of wine! You know when we got home, we popped that bottle in celebration of Mr and Mrs Charpie’!!
