Siobhan & Jeremiah
FINALLY! A new blog post! It’s been raining every single day here in Southern Maryland so all of our portrait sessions during the week have been rained out and postponed. You can say that we were getting a little antsy for some new photos! Well, we can certainly say that the wait was worth it because Siobhan and Jeremiah’s Rixey Manor wedding in the mountains of Virginia at was stunning. Siobhan and Andie are sorority sisters so it was great to see a bunch of AOII women at the wedding! In fact, Jeremiah actually proposed to Siobhan during one of our chapter meetings, in front of all the sisters! Talk about bravery!
Rixey Manor has quickly become one of our favorite venues because 1. you can bring your dogs. 2. the bride and groom can rent the manor for the entire weekend – talk about stress free. 3. the owners (Isadora and Ben) are just the sweetest people ever to work with, they care so much about their couples 4. well, you’ll see for yourself when you see the manor – it’s GORGEOUS!

One of the coolest parts of Jeremiah & Siobhan’s wedding was their use of cake’s as centerpieces! After Siobhan & Jeremiah cut their own cake, the guests were welcomed to each cut their table’s cake and share the different flavors in the room. It really got everyone up and mingling – not to mention the cakes were AMAZING!

Couldn’t have ended the wedding day without some sunset and fur baby portraits! Congratulations you two! We know how hard y’all have worked to have this gorgeous wedding day. We’re so happy that God decided to hold off the rain and let you enjoy your perfect special evening. We love you both!
