Springfield Manor, you have stolen our hearts. ALMOST as much as Katie, Brett, and their family and friends did. Last week, we were crazy busy with two weddings in one week. The drive up to Thurmont, Maryland was a train wreck for me. I thought Tony was going to kill me! I do not do well in traffic, yall. I’m not used to commuting or being in stand still traffic. Ever. But when we showed up to the winery on Friday and saw Katie and Brett’s color palette, I SCREAMED. YALL. ITS COSTOLA BLUE. That was totally just the beginning of every. single. detail. from their wedding day. Springfield Manor is at the bottom of a mountain, complete with a lavender field, vineyard, STUNNING manor house and ballroom, the fountain, the barns, we could actually go on and on about it. We instantly saw what Katie & Brett saw that made them decide to claim this location as the place where they would exchange vows and would be became husband and wife!!
We knew Katie & Brett previously because we were Katie’s brother’s wedding photographers! We fell in love with their family and it was a no brainer that we were going to love Brett’s family just as much. Awesome families just seem to be contagious and they end up making friends (and marrying) other awesome families. This was no exception! The dance floor was PACKED the entire time, almost so packed that we couldn’t fit on it! But of course we wiggled our way in there and got the BEST dancing photos. Katie & Brett, we are so happy for you both and are watching alllll of the Instagram stories from your honeymoon! We know you two will have the best time! Congratulations on your wedding day and marriage!!
