Nick & Elena
This weekend was GORGEOUS!! We had the honor of photographing Elena and Nick exchange vows at their Woodlawn Estate wedding at the VERY bottom of St. Mary’s County! It was so great to be here again because while growing up, my Daddy would take me camping multiple times a year at Point Lookout State Park which is just a few miles down the road from Woodlawn. It’s one of my favorite places in Southern Maryland to be for this reason and the fact that it is just such a stunning location!
Elena and Nick are kind of pros at the whole wedding thing. This is actually their SECOND wedding to each other! Now I have you confused. Well, you see, Nick and Elena FIRST exchanged vows earlier this year in ITALY! Elena’s entire family is from Italy, so they chose to get married in Italy for her family and then come back to Southern Maryland to celebrate with Nick’s family!
Y’all, it was the COOLEST thing to stand at the front of the ceremony space and listen to the different languages come from everyone’s mouths. It was also so sweet to see Nick and Elena play with their ADORABLE son, Nico! He definitely stole the show!
