Travels with the Ingagliatos at Quirk Hotel
Happy Monday!! We kicked this week of with an amazing wedding ceremony at the Calvert County Courthouse and can’t wait to celebrate with that bride and groom again in two weeks at their wedding reception! Til then, we’ve got some catching up to do! My best friend, Haley, and I went to Richmond this weekend to hangout with a few of my best friends (and bridesmaids!). We stayed at the Quirk Hotel which, if you ever go to Richmond for a weekend and need a place to stay, I would HIGHLY suggest that you stay here!
The design and decor at Quirk Hotel is adorable, everything is mostly pink, and the staff is the MOST hospitable group of people that you will ever meet! After we checked in to Quirk, we went to The Boathouse for dinner. The Boathouse has one of the best views of the Richmond skyline, not to mention great food! We split a lobster bake and watched the sunset (how romantic of us)! Then we popped back to Quirk to go to the rooftop “Q Bar” to meet up with our girlfriends for some after dinner drinks with an amazing city view!
The next morning, we got up early for a sunrise session at the Capitol Building, then quickly headed to the river for a morning swim and sun! The James River is such a neat place because of all of the rocks that you can lay out and just hang out to relax! We even had the most amazing breakfast at Quirk, ice-cream at the famous Charm School Social Club (perfect timing for #NationalIceCreamDay), and dinner at Pearl!
After dinner, we went up to the rooftop to have a farewell glass of wine, followed with a night in at the hotel, complete with nourishing face masks and 90s movies!
Not pictured – the yoga class that we did Sunday morning… ON PADDLE BOARDS. You can imagine how hilarious this was. Our weekend was short, but we jam packed that thing full of full memories and so many laughs!
We also had some mini sessions this trip! Check out the three mini sessions below:
