Summer Southern Maryland Engagement Session

September 6, 2019

Amanda & Matt

Because Amanda and Matt still live in Nashville, they had to fly in this week for their engagement session. Everything was up in the air as to if we were even going to be able to do their engagement session this morning because of the ever-growing forecast of rain due to this hurricane that is happening down south. But we took our chances, I brought my umbrellas, and we decided to shoot anyway! I’m so happy we did because the weather was actually PERFECT! There was a gorgeous breeze the whole time and we had the whole park to ourselves for a perfect Southern Maryland engagement session! July can’t come soon enough!!

One of the BIGGEST compliments a bride can give us is when one of her own BRIDESMAIDS asks us to be their photographer for their wedding day! We first Amanda & Matt back when Katie & Brett celebrated their wedding at Springfield Manor Winery and Distillery last year! Now this year, it’s their turn to get married!

Amanda & Matt met in Baltimore when Amanda was in college and Matt was doing an internship for the Ravens. When Matt moved on with his career to Nashville, Amanda realized seeing him go was a lot harder than she anticipated and they both decided to start dating long distance! When Amanda graduated college two years later, she moved to Nashville to join him. Thank goodness because now, four years after, they went on vacation in Aruba with both of their parents, and Matt proposed on the beach! It’s so crazy how every little move you make in this life counts!
