Oh my goodness!! I just got back from an amazing conference in Raleigh, North Carolina called “Creative At Heart” and it was LIFE CHANGING! But because it was 4 days of being out of the office, we’re a little backed up on our blog posts! So naturally, the first thing we did when we got home was get to work. I feel like a fire has been rekindled in our passion for this amazing business! But enough about us, let’s talk about sweet Heather and Brett and their beautiful Southern Maryland wedding day!
Heather went to high school with Tony and I and ironically, my mom and her mom actually also went to the same high school! Small town America, y’all! When Heather had contacted us, I knew that we were the photographers for her. Heather had very recently lost her dad to a tragic boating accident, and we felt very called by the Lord to make sure that we were going to be able to be the one’s to serve her on her wedding day. I had personally lost my uncle when I was young to a boating accident, and although he was not my dad, I felt like I connected with Heather, even though she had no idea about any of my family’s own past with grief. The year flew by and now here we were, about to watch Heather marry the man of her dreams – Brett.
When we asked Heather what she loves the most about Brett, she said that he fits perfectly into her family just like a puzzle piece; hunting and fishing. From the first day he met her family it was like he had been there for forever. Brett says that he loves how Heather is very hard working at her goal to become a nurse, and that she is dedicated to saving lives while at work and as well as when she is volunteering at the rescue squad!
