We are wrapping up the end of our 2017 wedding year! To have our SECOND snowy Southern Maryland wedding in 2017 was a dream! Our first one was at the beginning of the year (our first wedding of 2017!) and now it snowed on Katie and Patrick’s wedding day. We hope that this means that we all get to have a white Christmas, which we can’t remember the last time that that even happened! When we all woke up Saturday morning, I think we were a little disappointed that there wasn’t 4 inches of snow on the ground, like the weather man had predicted. But around noon, it started to snow and it just didn’t stop!
We’ve known Katie & Patrick for years, so being a part of their wedding day was a true honor for us! The ceremony was at a catholic church in our home town, followed by a BEAUTIFUL reception at Patrick’s mother’s home – which is, in our opinion, the most beautiful home in Southern Maryland! You have to see for yourselves.. it made us feel like we were somewhere in France! The touches of red, the romantic winter barn for cocktail hour… the reception was just STUNNING. Pair that with a great group of hilarious, fun, and loving friends and family – you’ve got yourself a winner of a wedding! Congratulations to Patrick & Katie on becoming HUSBAND AND WIFE!!
