We would have to say that our favorite thing about being wedding photographers is when we get to photograph our sweet couples in all stages of their lives together. From the engagement, to the wedding day, to the day that they start a family and every milestone afterwards, we get to be a part of these special moments with them! Their wedding day was one for the books that people STILL talk about to this day, so we had no doubt that their maternity session was going to be fabulous. Did we expect to get a foot of snow and be able to photograph it in a winter wonderland? Heck no. But did it make it the most beautiful snowy lake side maternity session ever? HECK YES.
Because the roads were still a little icy, we decided to meet at a park that is in between both of our homes here in Southern Maryland. I often walk around this lake but I had never seen it so beautiful as it was in the snow. It was the most perfect place to celebrate the beginning of the life of their beautiful little baby girl. Although we know that Lisa was just born to be a girl mom, we can’t wait to see Justin with a little girl! She’s going to be the most kick-butt little lady we have ever met, and we can’t wait for the day!
