Romantic Winter Maternity Session

March 13, 2020

Tai & Nick

Winter is our season of maternity and newborn sessions. It always works out that way every single year! The best thing about Southern Maryland is that even in the winter, it is one of the most beautiful places! Tai and Nick wanted something scenic, natural, and intimate for their maternity session to celebrate their little babe coming in the next couple months! I think we nailed it with this romantic winter maternity session!

Nick and Tai met in college at VCU, my alma matter! That’s how Tai and I knew each other! Although we did not connect much in college (I worked full time and was in the art school aka little time for making friends!) but I always would see her at Greek events on campus and just thought she was such a bombshell!! It was no surprise that when Nick came to the US from the UK to play soccer on a scholarship, he saw her and was immediately drawn to her! They got married shortly after they met as they knew right away that they had a special connection and the same dreams and aspirations.

Now, they have been married for 5 years and in May they will be married for 6 years! In those short years, Tai has received her masters degree, they both have jobs that they are so passionate about, they bought their first home in Loudon County (goals!), and are now expecting a baby boy! They both want to give back to the world and do this by working with children. I know for a fact that they will be the absolute BEST parents! I can’t wait to see these two again and see where life takes them this year! Enjoy our favorites from this romantic winter maternity session!
