Shawn & Amber
Last night was amazing! Amber and Shawn chose the perfect location and time for an Olde Town Engagement at Christmas time! There is just something about the city at Christmas time – the wreaths, the bows, the Christmas trees and lights… what’s not to love?!
Shawn and Amber’s first date was in October of 2014 at Carrabba’s Italian Grill. A typical two hour dinner date carried over for two more hours in the parking lot where they leaned on Amber’s car talking with no concept of time! When it came to saying goodbye, it just felt so easy and natural for them to have their first kiss to end the night! Straight out of a Hallmark movie! We know we’re not the only ones with the Hallmark Christmas movies on our TV every night…
When Amber had finished her Master’s degree at the University of Maryland, to help celebrate, she invited her whole family and Shawn’s family to dinner after the graduation. After graduation, they went to the National Harbor for lunch and pictures. The typical pictures were taken with grandparents, parents, and siblings, but when the time came for Shawn and Amber to take pictures together, Shawn grabbed Amber before she walked away, pulling her back to him and began to spill his heart out!! Eyes full of happy tears of course, he got down on one knee with all of her family able to witness this wonderful moment in their lives!! What a romantic, Shawn!!
Well we can NOT wait for wedding, almost exactly a year from today! December 1, 2018 will be a magical day to say “I do!” and we are just counting down the days!
