On Saturday, we had the incredible honor of photographing John and Ashley’s Chesapeake Bay Beach Club Wedding! This was Tony and I’s first wedding that we have been able to do together since he had his accident! Luckily, he is all healed up and starting physical therapy now, so he was in no pain at all during this wedding day. It felt so good to have the CP team back together. It really is crazy how having Tony there makes me even more excited for a wedding day!
We started the day with getting ready images at the Inn at the beach club, which holy moly, every room is so gorgeous! I feel like we sometimes take for granted how beautiful Maryland is and how lucky we are to live in a place that could be a vacation spot every day of the year! This Inn makes you feel just that – like you are on a relaxing get-away to the bay. We of course have a soft spot for Kent Island, because this is the same island that WE got married on, almost eight months ago now!
There were so many personal touches and beautifully genuine aspects to this wedding that we’re excited to share on the blog today! Ashley did ALL of the design of the decor HERSELF. Including the beautiful macrame ceremony backdrop! And the oyster shell garland on their sweetheart table! She really thought of every single last detail to make their wedding so so beautiful.
