A Georgetown Waterfront Engagement

September 25, 2017

Katie & Brett

This past weekend was AMAZING! Saturday morning, we kicked it off by driving into D.C. to meet up with Katie & Brett for their Georgetown Waterfront Engagement session! It was such a beautiful morning and it was awesome to see Katie & Brett again!

We actually first met Katie & Brett at Katie’s brother’s (Joanie & John) wedding earlier this year! We were THRILLED when they asked us to be THEIR wedding photographers! They have just the best friends and family, so we immediately knew that it was going to be a match.

Brett actually proposed in Georgetown on New Year’s Eve! He planned a nice dinner at an Italian restaurant – Il Canali, and then walked Katie to the waterfront and popped the question RIGHT there. Even his two cousins were hiding to capture the moment! So obviously it was a no brainer that we HAD to go back to where he proposed for their engagement session!
