The McCauley Ladies: A Portrait of Pure Fun and Family
This week at Costola Studio, I wasn’t just capturing Molly MacCauley’s radiant energy in a headshot session, but also got to document the warmth of their family during a fun family photo session. Molly McCauley and her amazing girl gang, her sister and mom, came into the studio for some portraits, and let me tell you, it was a blast. These three were so laid-back and comfortable, it felt like we were all just hanging out.
We started with a super minimalistic look: a soft white backdrop and a cool, polished concrete floor. This put the entire focus on them, and I loved how they all naturally snuggled close together. The colors in the photo are soft and muted, creating a serene and timeless feel. They were all casually dressed in light denims, soft blues, and warm earth tones that just worked beautifully together
Then, we decided to switch things up and swapped the backdrop for a richer blue-gray. Like magic, the McCauley trio transformed – their vibe went from playful to sophisticated in a snap.
It was such a fun family photo session capturing the different sides of this amazing family. They laughed, they shared stories, and most importantly, they just enjoyed being together
