This wedding day is a little different than our usual wedding days because 1. The bride is one of my best friends which means that 2. I was a bridesmaid in this wedding but of course 3. we were the photographers! Which meant that this wedding was not only 4. photographed by myself and Tony but also Marie & Lizzy! We woke up the morning of Haley & David’s wedding at The Great Marsh Estate and the sun was shining, it was just a little chilly (can you say fall dreams come true?) and the party was starting!
I have know Haley since I was 16 years old and she was just a little girl. Through the years, I have watched her grow up to be an amazing christian woman who is career driven, kind, selfless, and a few years ago, she met her match. We have been the lucky ones to photograph David’s proposal to Haley, their engagement, the times that they modeled for us during a styled shoot, and now their WEDDING DAY!! I just still can’t believe it!
It has been a running joke that Haley & David’s wedding is the “royal wedding” of our friend group and you can totally see why we called it this. Every little detail was thought about, including warm blankets to keep the guests warm, a smores bar, lounges for the guests to enjoy, you name it – David and Haley’s family provided it!
Haley & David, Tony and I can not be more happy for you both. Thank you for not only valuing us, but allowing us to be your wedding photographers. It was a complete honor. You two make love look fun and sexy and I think that’s just how it’s supposed to be. We love you both to the moon and back!
