The best of 2020. Wow. What a year, y’all. While writing this blog post, I was drawn to reflect on 2020 and what exactly the year brought. 2020 brought a lot of heartache, many people lost their loved ones this one, there was confusion, anger, devastation. 2020 gave us a new perspective on what is even possible in our world now. But do you know what else 2020 brought? Hope. Love. We were able to photograph seventeen incredible couples who looked 2020 in the eye and said “NOT TODAY SATAN” – literally. And they were married anyway.
Choosing the photos for this year’s Best of 2020 post looked a lot different than last year. This year, you will see a lot of intimate weddings, elopements, courthouse ceremonies, you name it. This year was about getting straight to the point, cutting out all of the fluff, and making it about what it should have always been about – marriage! All 17 of these amazing, beautiful couples have a special place in our hearts and we can not be more grateful for the kindness that they have shown us. We love you all to pieces. Thank you for making 2020 the best year ever.
