Scott & Alex
Engagement session is in FULL swing over here at Costola! Last night, I met up with Scott and Alex for their Alexandria waterfront engagement session. And what a small world – let me tell you. Scott and I grew up about 25 minutes from each other in New Jersey! What are the odds?? Alexandria is a special place for them because Alex had lived here in grad school and they even have a little getaway investment condo downtown!
Scott is the physician at Medstar St. Mary’s where Alex is the Medical Social Worker. They had a patient case together that Alex claims she “screwed up tremendously and therefore needed his help”. Haha! Anyways, after a few more cases, brushes in the hallway, and nosey coworkers, Scott had asked Alex out on a date. 1.5 years later he surprised her at her church with some pictures and a GORGEOUS engagement ring!
Now, they are totally tag teaming wedding planning! Alex jokes that she is much more all over the place and that Scott is the more organized one, so she is making the big decisions and Scott is bringing them all together to make the details fit. I thought that was so cool because usually grooms aren’t so involved. It was refreshing to see a man who cared so much!
Now, we can’t wait for their wedding at the Crystal Gateway Marriot in September! Enjoy this Alexandria waterfront engagement session!!
