Marissa & Nathan
You know what’s crazy? At this point in Tony and I’s life, all of our friends are getting married and having babies. Friends are buying houses, BUILDING houses, getting new fur babies, thriving in their jobs and relationships.. and y’all, it’s so good to see. Right now, in my group of best friends (I have SIX best girl friends – all who were in my wedding!) FOUR of them are either pregnant or already have a little one! Today, I have to highlight my best friend, Marissa, and her husband, Nathan, for their stunningly gorgeous Charlottesville Orchard maternity session.
I had never been to Carter Mountain before, but have driven by their entrance many of times while driving to wineries in Charlottesville. You have to drive up a HUGE mountain to get to the top, and the views are spectacular! You can actually pick your apples (depending on which ones are in season) and they have wine tastings, yummy food, and in the fall they even have live music! Yesterday was blazing hot but we really wanted to channel some fall vibes with the outfits, so Marissa and Nathan were such troopers and wore fall clothes in the 90 degree heat! Again, you wouldn’t even know how sweaty we are all were!
Nathan and Riss, I’m so happy for you and I can’t wait to come love on little man when he gets here. Tony and I love you three to the moon and back and know that you both are going to be the best parents – because you already are!! Counting down the 49 days (give or take) til Baby Caskey gets here!
