Alex & Scott
They’re married!!! Alex and Scott became husband and wife on Saturday surrounded by family and friends at Alex’s childhood church followed by a celebration at the Crystal Gateway Marriot. This was a different wedding for me because I showed up to the ceremony without having seen Alex first so when she came through the doors and walked down the gorgeously long aisle, it was a surprise for me as well! Scott is as kind, but also stoic, as they come and when his eyes welled up with tears…SO. DID. EVERYONE’S. It was such a special moment!
After officially tying the knot, they partied it up in Alexandria! That’s a special area for them so ending their wedding night there was perfect. Their reception was full of energy! These two have a whole lot of people who love them. And the absolute best part?! They did something I’ve never seen before (but want to see again!). CONFETTI ENTRANCE! When they walked into their reception, their wedding party was loaded up with confetti poppers to make the grandest entrance to a reception of all time. Seriously so fun! That’s all it took to get the party started!
One of the most meaningful moments of the night was their charity dance at the reception. A lot of couples do the “dollar dance,” but Alex and Scott chose to pick two charities, rather than themselves, to give the money to! I mean, do we not get the best couples ever?? I loved this personal and selfless touch during their day. Keep on scrolling to see all the princess vibes, teary eyes, and laughs and cries!
xoxo, Marie
