Waterfront Engagement Session in Alexandria

September 20, 2018

Cheryl & Tim

We can’t even express properly how excited we are that there is SUNSHINE! The sun! Is out! We can’t believe it. It feels like it’s been raining for 40 days and 40 nights. But thank Jesus, it has stopped, and it is gorgeous outside! The sun was giving me all sorts of happy feels during Tim & Cheryl’s waterfront engagement session in Alexandria, Virginia yesterday morning! Plus, they just knew how to work the camera so I was screaming of joy the entire time.

Tim and Cheryl met at work back in 2012 and had a back and forth flirty thing going on for a couple of years before finally having their first date! People in the office even call them “Jim and Pam”. HOW CUTE?! They really are Jim and Pam though, I concur.

Back to the love story – Tim proposed in Old Town Alexandria, which is where they had their first date, so naturally that’s where we went for their engagement session. Before Tim proposed, they had got some ice cream before going to the waterfront. He gave Cheryl a big birthday gift bag and inside was another gift wrapped rectangle shaped thing. When she opened it, it was a photo frame of a stock photo couple getting engaged. Cheryl was a little confused at first, until Tim explained that he would be replacing that photo with a photo of them and then he got down on one knee proposed! Cheryl even took out the ring from the box before he even asked her to marry him! Our girl was PUMPED! We are so excited for their wedding day at Flora Corner Farm in May next year!!
