The Homeplace at Johnston Farm Wedding in Tennessee

August 19, 2019

Breanne & Samuel

We have been looking forward this wedding since the day that Sam and Bre asked us to be their photographers! I immediately googled “The Homeplace at Johnston Farm” to see what the venue looked like and the ceremony views speak for themselves!! We flew to Asheville, NC to stay there for the weekend because it was the closest major city to Greeneville, TN. Tony had never been to the Biltmore before which is a must-see when you are that close to it! It is incredible! We would totally move to Asheville if we were ever thinking about moving anywhere. We loved it!

On the wedding day, got to the venue pretty early because it was a place that we had never been to before. Sam’s family actually OWNS this venue, so they were able to stay here and have everything done before hand. It made the wedding day so smooth and relaxing for the entire family. The barn itself is incredible, but those VIEWS!! We just couldn’t get over them!! It was one thing after the other that made this wedding day so special. Breanne and Sam shared their vows privately during their first look overlooking the mountains, the weather was gorgeous, they had a sparkler exit right at dusk (which people never do for some reason and it’s one of our favorite times to photograph sparklers!), there were FIREWORKS, we got to work with some of our favorite wedding vendors from Southern Maryland, there were donuts served for cake… I could literally go on and on but I think this sentence has run-off enough so I’ll just end it HERE.

BUT, the sunset portraits!!! Haha! Seriously, this wedding was so beautiful. And it was so much sweeter because Sam and Breanne are 100% worthy of every second of this beautiful day. Congratulations you two!! Have a great time in Nashville for your mini-moon and Lord knows you are counting down the days for St. Lucia this winter!!!

A huge thank you to the following vendors and companies who made this day so beautiful!
