A Glen Ellen Farm Wedding

April 11, 2017

John & Joanie

There are so many things about this wedding that we just loved! Seriously! It started with the venue. How stunning is this place?! Glen Ellen Farm is just the most perfect backdrop for a couple who is as fun, loving, and beautiful as Joanie and John. It has a gorgeous manor house, a pond, an amazing cocktail hour area (complete with a bonfire!), and the tent had elegance written all over it!

What really impressed us most about John and Joanie’s wedding day was how they involved Jesus in every aspect of the day. The music that the bridal party walked down the isle to was about God, the prayers before the ceremony, the speeches that were made during the reception – everything had to do with our Lord and you could just feel his presence in every move that happened.

It was hard to narrow down favorites, so forgive us if this post is a little long!

How sweet are these notes that they wrote to each other before the ceremony? How precious is this father/daughter first look?! How loving are John and Joanie’s friends and family for praying over their marriage before they walked down the aisle?!

THEY’RE MARRIED! After family formals, we snuck them off for a few “Just Married” portraits before the reception began!

At sunset, they let us sneak them away for a few more bride & groom portraits because WOW THAT LIGHT!! Seriously can not get over it!!

We can not wait to see how Jesus is going to bless these two even more than he already has. He has such big plans for his children and getting to watch John and Joanie grow in their marriage with Jesus is just going to be the most exciting part of why we LOVE being wedding photographers!
