The Ingagliatos

Dear Tony,

Today you turn 31! I know that we are still in a weird place with this quarantine, so we can’t celebrate you the way that we should (in some big show of affection like I usually try to do), but I think this birthday will always be one that you will forever remember.

No, it won’t be because we are going on a big trip or because you’re getting a huge present (although I hope you love your new tool box chest for the garage!), but I hope it will be because you got to spend your birthday doing the things you love with the people you love most. We’re going camping this year, and it’s not with some crazy spectacular view of the mountains or on a beach, but it’s in our backyard by the creek that I hope our kids get to explore and that I grew up on! There might not be a ton of people to surprise you with a big party, but you will be spending it with your closest friends and family (at different times) because hey, there is still a 10 person limit on gatherings thanks to Corona.

Tony, you are the light of my life. I know that is so cheesy to say, but it’s the truth. On the days where I am feeling down and least like myself, you come home, can immediately sense what headspace I’m in, and you help me see the light. You’ll usually do something silly or sometime’s you know that all I need is a really good, big, super tight hug. And it fixes everything. You are patient when I am a mess, you constantly push me to my limits (in good and bad ways) and most importantly, you keep me on a track that is always after Jesus. When I get overwhelmed with life, you show me what is most important.

I hope that today, you feel like the amazing man that you are, because you deserve that feeling each and every single day! I love you so much and I can’t wait to see what year 31 has in store for you.

My boo, babooski, love bug, sugar, husband, and best friend – Happy Birthday sweetheart. I love you.
