Wedding Coordination & Events

It’s launch day for these two beauts at AMAVI! Brooke always had dreamt of going into business for herself in the wedding industry but just didn’t know how. After many years spent in the government she was just left unfulfilled and decided to pursue her passion. WHY NOT? Brooke took courses and became registered through the Association of Bridal Consultants. She began a coordination business to test the waters known as Brooke Lauryn Wedding Day Coordination. Little did she know how quickly she would be booking brides. Brooke knew she would need help and couldn’t do this alone and began thinking about an assistant. Well God answers her prayers when Hannah reached out inquiring about the industry. We just connected. With Hannah on board BLWDC could become so much more than just coordination. Hannah as also chased the social norms in a career but nothing felt right. After connecting with Brooke she found the passion she had been desperately searching. Hannah is a planner at heart and just genuinely loves people.

The one thing that they love the most about their business besides having hands down the best job in the world, their NAME! AMAVI is Latin for “I love” . Hannah and Brooke flirted with a lot of names and all cliches aside this one just spoke to them. It spoke to their love for God, their love for what they do, and their couples love for each other. It doesn’t get more perfect!

One thing that makes their business unique – they have such a broad range of packages to include one they are so excited about. Proposal packages. They aren’t just for the bride anymore, they are for the groom as well. Proposals are just as important as the wedding. She want’s something she can remember forever and tell all her friends and family and grandchildren one day. they will work hand in hand with any groom to really make that day special for her. They also go above and beyond. They are your personal assistant on your wedding day. They want to tap into all those hidden thoughts you have envisioned on your wedding day and make sure you get exactly what you envision.

One thing you would be surprised to know about Brooke – the wedding planner eloped! Yes, yes she did. She’s such a hopeless romantic she just wanted that moment to be him and her. She wanted to do the ugly cry and it not be remembered. Oh how she  just loves him! As for Hannah – She can sing! She was recently asked to sing the national anthem in front of thousands of people for the demolition derby.

Three things that Brooke always carries on her – her phone, her target card, and a prayer. Ha! There is no telling what she may get into but if those three can’t get her out of it she doesn’t want to be in it. Hannah always has her phone, lip stick, and phone charger. You never know who you will run into, and gloss on the lip can save a girl’s life.

Some advice they would give to their client’s before meeting with them would be, “It’s ok to be a mess, and its ok to say “I don’t know”. If we aren’t making you thinking about things you haven’t thought about we aren’t doing our job.”
