I've had a passion for gorgeous imagery and creating art since before I could remember. I've always loved the arts, starting with classical music and theater, and from there it progressed into the fine art medium of painting and photography.
I love how photography gives me the opportunity to personally get to know and create relationships with my clients. It allows me to pick up on the quiet moments of each time spent together, and how unique each person truly is. After 15 years of capturing couple's and family's during their most precious times in their lives with my husband, I can truly say that this is where I am meant to be. Read on for a little more about me and the studio.
the love of my life
And your second shooter! This guy. My husband, Tony. Believe it or not, he's as hilarious as he is handsome. Tony and I grew up in the same small town in rural Maryland, but didn't start dating until I finished college. He's been my best friend through it all and we are so excited to be starting a family together!
Traveling the World
We might just love traveling as much as we love our pups! We specialize in capturing romantic destination weddings throughout the United States, Europe, Caribbean and beyond. Our favorite country is Italy! It might be all the delicious wine, it might be the stunning views, we can’t decide!
OUR WEDDING ALBUM
We always said that if our #CostolaCottage burned to the ground, the first things we would grab are our pups and our wedding album. We can’t wait to one day watch our own babies flip through our love story!
Date Nights in the City
Some of our favorite restaurants in Washington include Fiola Mare, Del Mar, and Salt Line! There’s also nothing quite like a wine night in your PJs with the love of your life.
Da Vinci and Vincent
Yes. Leonardo Da Vinci and Vincent VanGogh. The two furry loves of our lives. We do not have any children (yet) so these are our fur babies and always will be!
Home decor. Trying new recipes with ingredients from our garden, Watching New Girl over and over again. And really good red wine every afternoon.
location: Paris, France
I arrived in Paris on Friday morning, immediately checked into the hotel, unpacked my bags, took a shower, and got back out on the sidewalks to walk around Paris. I only had a weekend in Paris before I left for the countryside, so I wanted to make the most of it.

I told Tony that we were going to grab dinner in town – super casual. We hopped in the Jeep and little did know that not only were our bags packed, but our very good friend Candace from Candace Nicole Photography was in the back seat!!

As soon as we hopped off of the ferry, we were greeted by Camillo, our private boat tour guide from Capri Star Tour. Ironically enough, I found Camillo off of Instagram and booked him through Instagram as well. He was so helpful right from the start, and it didn’t stop there!

I used to have three completely separate pages for all of my favorite things, broken down into different categories and it was all over the place! Now, all of my favorite things can be found right here, perfectly organized so you can find what you need.
That's heartbreaking! Our wedding day was so precious to us, and we know that each couple's wedding is just as special. We strive to make your wedding experience as effortless and enjoyable as possible from the moment we chat to the day you have your custom legacy album. This is about that real love. The kind that makes your heart beat a little harder, makes you want to hug a little tighter, stay out under the stars a little longer, and breathe the little moments in a little deeper.
